Blessings of Ignorance

Today, I was at an interview for a Learning & Development role. A friend of mine also attended the interview soon after me, and we got an opportunity to have a quick conversation before he got his turn.

This friend of mine shared his concern of not being a trainer but yet attending an interview for one. I encouraged him with the fact that he had a higher advantage than me! The less you know the better! Thatz just what I told him... The art of unlearning is too tedious for most trainers.

Blessed are you when you know the least... you are in the right place to learn!

This was just the case when I took driving lessons in the Sultanate of Oman. The art of driving is poorly explored/taught in India. Whereas in the Middle East, I just enjoyed the way my tutor taught me the basics of driving - which after four years of driving (atleast 50000 kms) - i had to unlearn!

I repeat... Blessed are you when you know the least... you are in the right place to learn!
