With lots of love - Abba Father

Everything I have is a gift - Gifted immensely by Father God.

Talents, clothes, laptop, phones, guitars, drums, etc... u name it... everythng!

I am blessed from above... gifts reach me with this invisible note...

''with lots of love,
Abba Father"

I am me... allow me plz!

Over the last two years... I have learnt this lesson the hard way.

A week ago I came across a poem that illustrates this freedom of being oneself beautifully.

Different Drums and Different Drummers

If I do not want what you want, please try not to tell me that my want is wrong.

Or if I believe other than you, at least pause before you correct my view.
Or if my emotion is less than yours, or more, given the same circumstances,
try not to ask me to fell more strongly or weakly.
Or yet if I act, or fail to act, in the manner of your design for action, let me be.

I do not, for the moment at least, ask you to understand me.
That will come only when you are willing to give up changing me into a copy of you.
I may be your spouse, your parent, your offspring, your friend, or your colleague.
If you will allow me any of my own wants, or emotions, or beliefs, or actions,
then you open yourself, so that some day these ways of mine might not seen so wrong,
and might finally appear to you as right-for me.

To put up with me is the first step to understanding me.
Not that you embrace my ways as right for you,
but that you are no longer irritated or disappointed with me for my seeming waywardness.
And in understanding me, you might come to prize my difference from you,
And, far from seeking to change me, preserve and even nurture those differences.

Start the day with 1 myna? 2 mynas? 3 mynas? 4 mynas?

At 14 years and in the life of a boarder... day dreams are welcome!

lol! My memories at the Boy's hostel in Kottayam is distinct with the viewing of mynas that sat on the road in front of our study room. We would all hope that if we ever saw a myna any time of the day for the very first time ... we wud not see it sitting alone.

Popular belief at the hostel was that - the number of myna's u see for the first time in the morning - determine ur luck for the day =)
the formula was such:

a. 1 myna - bad day
b. 2 mynas - good day
c. 3 mynas - somebody is coming from home to visit you
d. 4 mynas - you're going home soon

Oh... 2, 3 and 4 mynaz sitting together wud mean good thngs... nobody ever wanted to see a myna all by itself first thng in the morning.

Seldom do numbers and mynas determine the sequence of events of any day...
But yes... for a lil while it brot in sum good dreams for a new day =)
