And the Lord was with him...

"The chief jailer did not supervise anything under Joseph's charge because the Lord was with him; and whatever he did, the Lord made to prosper."
(Genesis 39:23, Bible)

Wow! Ever wondered what it means when you say - 'the Lord is with me'??

This chapter has about 5 places that show what it means when you say 'the Lord is with me'.

1. The Lord was with Joseph, so he became a successful man. (vs 2)

2. Now the master saw that the Lord was with him(Joseph) and how the Lord caused all he did to prosper in his hand. (vs 3) Master appoints Joseph as overseer of his house and all that he owned (vs 4)

3. Lord blessed the Egyptian's house on account of Joseph (vs 5)

4. But the Lord was with Joseph and extended kindness to him, and gave him favor in the sight of the chief jailer. (vs 21)

5. Whatever Joseph did, the Lord made to prosper. (vs 23)

Check it out folks. Get the Lord on your side! =)

Kinda obvious that HE is all you need. =)
